Mind-Body Synergy Therapy (MBST) is an approach which focuses on building collaboration with the mind (our thoughts and feelings) with the body (our physiological sensations). You create a deeper understanding how you as a whole person, respond to the world around you. Teaching your mind (adult/protector) to listen and respect your body’s experiences (the honest self), you will understand your triggers and ways to be motivated. MBST guides you to make purposeful choices which you feel physically safe. Your mind recognizes what needs to be done however the body needs to agree. MBST utilizes layers allowing your mind and body to create agreeable solutions. You learn to work with (accepting), not against (rejecting) your emotions (self) to be stronger. This synergy translates into greater emotional and mental flexibility. It promotes greater self-awareness and confidence for you to feel free in taking the steps to create your own path.
